Richardson Staffing & Home Care was founded from a caregiving journey that forever changed my life. More than six years ago, I had the privilege of caring for John Richardson, a longtime Concord resident living with Parkinson's disease. As his condition progressed, his wife, Connie, a former Nurse Practitioner at Brigham and Women's Hospital, wanted him to receive compassionate, dependable care while she continued serving others through her profession.
At the time, I was caring for the sister-in-law of Connie's friend and neighbor, Leli, who introduced us after witnessing my dedication to caregiving. That introduction marked the beginning of a remarkable relationship. Over the years, John became much more than a client—we became trusted friends and extended family. We shared conversations, laughter, music, meals, birthdays, and holidays, while facing every stage of his Parkinson's journey together with compassion, dignity, and hope.
Why the Name “Richardson”?
John taught me that caregiving is about far more than helping with daily tasks. It is about preserving dignity, building trust, offering comfort, and ensuring no one feels alone. His life and our friendship inspired me to establish Richardson Staffing & Home Care, naming the agency in his honor.
